Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set forth the conditions of use of the app (object detection, counting, IFTTT integration, and related services; the "Service") provided by the operator of "People Counter By AI" (the "Operator"). By using the Service, you are deemed to agree to these Terms.
Article 1 (Service content and your responsibility)
The Service provides object detection and counting via camera and integration with IFTTT and similar services. The Operator makes no warranty as to the accuracy or usefulness of detection results.
You use settings and the Service at your own judgment and responsibility.
The Operator shall not be liable for any accidents, damage, or disputes with third parties arising from use of the Service.
Article 2 (Eligibility)
You may use the Service only if you can comply with these Terms and applicable laws.
If you are a minor, use the Service only with guardian consent.
The Operator shall not be involved in nor liable for disputes arising from your use.
Article 3 (Data handling)
Data such as count history may be deleted or changed without notice for operational reasons.
You are responsible for backing up your own data; the Operator shall not compensate for loss of data.
Article 4 (Subscriptions and ads)
Subscription pricing (e.g., ¥1,650/month, auto-renewal) follows each app store. Charges are billed to your store account and renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
No refunds or cancellations after payment. The free version grants runtime by watching video ads. The Operator has no obligation to compensate if features do not work due to ad delivery issues.
Article 5 (Suspension and restriction)
The Operator may restrict or suspend use without notice if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or the Operator otherwise deems it inappropriate.
The Operator shall not be liable for any damage you suffer as a result.
Article 6 (Changes and termination)
The Operator may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.
The Operator shall not be liable for any damage arising from discontinuation.
Article 7 (Disclaimer and cap on liability)
The Operator shall not be liable for any damage arising from the Service.
If liability is nevertheless imposed, it shall be limited to fees you paid to the Operator in the most recent month (zero for free users).
Article 8 (Personal information)
Personal information is handled in accordance with the separate Privacy Policy.
Article 9 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's residence.
